LINE

A mark with length and direction, created by a point that moves across a surface. A line can vary in length, width, direction, curvature and color. Line can be two-dimensional (a pencil line on paper), three-dimensional (wire), or implied.

 

 

 

 

Assignment: Create an artwork using ONLY lines using the following parameters: (1) Use as many variety of lines as possible. (2) lines can not cross but can start and end on another line (perpendicular), edge or corner of paper. (3) There should not be any "recognizable" objects/symbols. (4) Lines should be no more than 1/8" apart from each other.
